Campus-wide access control system | accessOCampus


Developped as a neOCampus project, accessOCampus is an open-source, campus-wide, access control system.
Using any NFC-enabled device (smartphone, cards), you can get authenticated so that access policies will be enforced.

Some features …

  • Fine-grained policies (users / rooms / access times),
  • Based on off-the-shelf hardware,
  • Logs of all access,
  • 100ms to get delivered an autorisation access.

Architecture

Our system is structured in two parts:

  • Hardware sensor with application client,
  • Web application registering users, access policies etc.
